If you’re a staff nurse with a Registered Nurse (RN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Degree and have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), then you already have the right certifications to be a travel nurse. But you will need a license to work in any state outside of your home state. That’s where we can help!
Most hospitals and healthcare facilities prefer travel nurses to have at least one year of nursing experience in the specialty they will be contracted for, although some facilities require two years of experience. This can vary by assignment and hospital, so the best way to find out if you will qualify for a specific assignment is to reach out to a recruiter directly. We likely have the perfect assignment for you.
